How to make a Poster using multiple reference images for the movie : KGF Chapter 2
- At first collect, screenshot or click same camera angle pictures of the main characters from your target movie/series or show for which you are going to make the poster(here I choose KGF Chapter 2). If images are not available you can screenshot it from the movie’s trailer or from its sequels, if its still not available then you can collect some real life images of those actors and can add the hairstyle/ornaments/getup/tattoo etc. according to your chosen movie.
Here for the movie KGF Chapter 2, I choose two main characters to make a half-n-half Poster where I can split the poster into two halves so that my left half can portray the character of Yash as Rocky and right side of the poster can portray Sanjay Dutt as Adheera.
2. Get deep into the characters skin and markdown some unique features of your character! It could be the hairstyle/makeup/getup/jewelry/hat/tattoo or anything that best describes your character without their actual presence!
For example here I choose Adheera’s tattoos and his fierce sword 🗡
3. Use some of the unique tools the characters use to represent the theme (here its the) fight!
Here I used Rocky’s rope overpowing Adheera’s sword to rule over Kolar Gold Fields. Well what’s your thoughts who was more powerful is it Adheera or Rocky?
4. Collect all the logo you want to add to your poster!
Here, I collected KGF Chapter 2 logo, Hombale films logo, Narachi Limestone Corporation gate images plus my unique Art Signature. You can add more if you want :)
5. Now comes the background. Pick out small details from the movie or trailer(if available).
Like here I picked Adheera’s face tattoo & Rocky’s danger signboard as my right and left side background to match with the half-half concept of the poster, u can use other characters as well or any scene from the movie.
6. The Final Touch: Combine all your reference in one place and create wonders with your hands and skills. Well if you are a digital artist you can combine it using your favorite editing software/tool and if you are a sketch artist like me then you have to combine them in your mind first and then you can bring them back to the paper like I did 😉 Good luck for your journey 👍
Just remember there is no right or wrong way of doing things while you are being creative!
7. Share your work i.e. the Poster with your team, family and friends and also with people on social media. Be creative and keep creating and inspiring peoples with your works ✌
So here is my final artwork (poster work) for the KGF Chapter 2 movie under #rockybhaifandom fanart submission. The poster is made-up of using Charcoal plus acrylic medium (acrylic colours used to give the fire effects to the letters K.G.F) Well I loved the final results and how nicely it came out and I also enjoyed my time creating this unique piece of work :) I hope you will like it too ❤
